Salty, vegetarian fish sauce

Fish sauce (also called nuoc mam) is a fermented condiment made from fish and salt. It is a common and necessary basic ingredient in Southeast Asia, especially in Vietnamese, Cambodian, and Thai dishes.

For our vegetable version, we combine ingredients with an earthy and salty sea taste like dulse, nori algae, dried shiitakes, and garlic to get that signature fish sauce base.

Organic, gluten-free vegan fish sauce without soy

Unlike most attempts to make vegetable fish sauce, we do not use an overpowering soy or shoyu sauce. As a result, we obtain a plant-based version that is surprisingly close to original fish sauce.

Using only organically grown ingredients, we guarantee extra pure quality. So without chemical fertilizers, and without the use of pesticides and herbicides. Our vegan fish sauce is 100% natural, without additives or preservatives, and is also gluten-free.

Use organic vegan fish sauce

This vegan fish sauce perfectly replaces traditional fish sauce in recipes for Asian-inspired dishes. But it doesn't have the annoying fermentation smell of the original. Therefore, you can also use it perfectly as a topping or flavoring for vegan fish substitutes or tofu dishes.

Use the sauce in vegan Singapore noodles, with Japanese ramen or veggie salmon. This sauce is also an excellent seasoning over roasted fish or fried scampi.
