Yeast converts sugar into carbon dioxide and alcohol, which guarantees a nice fluffy dough. This instant yeast is a natural, live yeast in a dehydrated form. And that has a number of practical advantages. For example, you don't need to rehydrate the yeast before use. You can add it to your flour even before you add the water.
After opening, the yeast is still active for about six weeks. You can use it to make bread, of course, but also cakes or pizzas. Handy for the home baker. And did we mention the premium quality? That's because the yeast is highly fermented and easy to use.
Use lukewarm water or water at room temperature. Never put the instant yeast in contact with cold water. Mix the instant yeast under the dry ingredients first.
Baking a saltless mix? Mix your flour and water, and only add the yeast after a minute.
As a rule, use 10 g of yeast to 500 g of flour, but be sure to check your recipe.
