Sorghum flour is a soft, white flour with a very fine texture. Sorghum naturally contains no gluten and a lot of protein. After harvesting the sorghum, the grains are simply ground and packaged without further processing. Our white sorghum flour is therefore 100% natural, certified organic and contains no additives.
Sorghum is an ancient grain and is related to millet. The flavor of sorghum is a bit more accessible compared to millet.
The taste of sorghum is very similar to the taste of common wheat, therefore ideal for making cookies or other pastries. Add some psyllium seeds to make the dough more elastic.
