Black quinoa is worth exploring. Black quinoa is rarer and less known than the white variety. The seeds do contain more nutrients than their white counterparts. They taste sweeter and more earthy. Our organic quinoa is unprocessed and grown without pesticides or herbicides.
Rinse quinoa thoroughly before use. Cook in 10 to 15 minutes until tender. Use black quinoa just like couscous or rice. Black quinoa is stable in form, slightly crunchy and fits perfectly in cold salads.
Unprocessed black quinoa. Organic, 100% natural and without additives.

Quinoa seeds naturally contain a bitter layer of saponin. Saponin is not a chemical pesticide. It is also not poisonous. Yet some people are sensitive to it. That is why we wash our quinoa immediately after harvesting. To be sure, rinse the seeds yourself.
