Roasted red rice flour is ubiquitous in Asia, and specifically in Indian regions like Keralla and in Sri Lanka. There it is used for famous dishes such as Idiyappam and Puttu, where the rice dish is steamed in typical mini steam kettles.

This finely ground rice flour is from Asian red rice. The flour is toasted for a full, delicious taste. It is therefore a convenient and tasty addition to other flours. It gives a crispy touch with a nice, slightly nutty taste.

Use red rice flour

Use red rice flour for baking tasty cookies and crackers.

You also use it additionally in pancake batter, waffle dough and other pastries. It is also great for making your own pasta or noodles.

Red rice flour is naturally gluten free. This makes it less suitable for making bread.
