These delicious plums come from France dried according to southwestern French tradition. After harvesting in September, the fruits are pitted and quickly dried to a moisture content of about 33%, perfectly soft and extra juicy.
These plums are best kept in the refrigerator to prevent them from going moldy.
White "rash" on plums is almost always the result of the natural process of saccharification. This does not affect the quality of the plums. It is not mold, the plum is still perfectly edible.
Nice to eat as a healthy snack. These plums also combine beautifully with French cheeses such as Brie and Camembert. Suitable for baking in a pan or on the grill.
