Delicious Thai rice

Jamine rice has a mild and well-rounded taste. In Thailand, jasmine rice is known as hom mali. That means rice with a delicate jasmine aroma. The aroma and taste of jasmine rice can be compared to basmati rice: slightly sweet, nutty and earthy.

This long-grain rice is whole grain. This brown jasmine rice is pure and hasn't been mixed with other types of rice. We do not add any artificial aromas. You'll immediately notice the difference with other, often cheaper, counterfeit versions.

Supporting local Thai farmers

Our jasmine rice comes from rice fields in northern and eastern Thailand. There, farmers organized in family businesses grow high-quality rice without the use of pesticides. Because of the fair conditions under which these farmers operate, their quality of life is substantially improved.

Use

Rinse before use. Cook one cup of rice in one and a half cup of water in 45 minutes. To shorten the cooking time, simply soak jasmine rice for a night in cold water. Jasmine rice can be a little bit sticky.
