The Mexican green Jalapeno pepper is an unripe red jalapeno chilipepper. Because it has not matured as long as the red pepper, the green Jalapeno has a milder flavour. With its fresh, slightly bitter taste, the green jalapeno is the perfect choice to add a spicy note to all your dishes, without being overpowering. This chili pepper has a Scoville score of 3/5 (medium-hot).
Use of ground green Jalapenos
