With every sip of this coffee, you are supporting women who are working with passion and dedication to build a better future.

Premium coffee, made by and for women

This coffee is grown with care by 15 women farmers in Colombia. They are part of the Asobombo Association, a community that empowers women and creates opportunities. Together they work to build a sustainable future for themselves and their families.

Nearly half of the 170 young member producers are women. They are all working together to strengthen their land with both traditional practices and modern approaches to agriculture. Their small farms are located in southern Huila, near the majestic Salto de Bordones waterfall, at elevations ranging from 1,600 to 2,000 meters.

Sustainable agriculture and fair trade

The women of Asobombo grow coffee with respect for people and the environment. They receive a fair price for their harvest, allowing them to invest in better farming techniques and infrastructure. This not only helps themselves, but also their community. Moreover, they actively combat deforestation and are committed to providing a livable income for all members.

Women as drivers of change

Asobombo believes that women are the key to social and economic progress. By providing them with resources and education, families have more opportunities to become self-sufficient. In addition to coffee, they also grow other crops, providing healthy food and better living conditions.

Top quality hand-picked coffee berries

This coffee begins with the careful hand-picking of ripe, red coffee berries. The women and their families process the berries on their own farms. They use small, manual pulpers to separate the beans and then ferment them for 12 to 36 hours. Then the beans are washed in clean water and dried on special drying beds. This process produces a coffee of exceptional quality.

Roasted by Bo, daughter of Carlos coffee, a family roastery in Dendermonde

At Carlos coffee, a family roastery in Dendermonde, this special coffee is roasted by hand. Bo, daughter of founder Carlo, continues the tradition with the slow-roast method. This slow roasting process ensures a rich, balanced flavor in every cup.
