Roasting our cashews gives them a more intense, creamy taste and crispier texture than raw cashews. We dry-roast the cashews, without oil or fat. Beside a pinch of Celtic sea salt, we do not add other flavourers or additives.
We season these dry-roasted cashews lightly with natural Celtic sea salt. This mineral sea salt is harvested by hand in the French Guerande area. Our grey Celtic salt is entirely unprocessed and natural. It cannot be compared with refined salt used to season nuts from the supermarket.
Celtic sea salt naturally contains a certain level of moisture and is sprinkled over the nuts before roasting them. During roasting, the salt dries on the nuts which makes it stick.
These dry-roasted cashews with Celtic sea salt are a healthy alternative for chips and deep-fried nuts. Delicious as an aperitif, in the car, while studying, etc.
