Because ts quinoa is whole grain, all vegetable proteins, vitamins and minerals in the small seed are optimally protected. This results is an extra nutritious whole-grain quinoa. Compared to potatoes, rice or pasta, quinoa contains more fibers and proteins, and less sugars.
There's no need to rinse this quinoa. Add 1 cup of quinoa to 3 cups of boiling water. Let it simmer for 10-20 minutes under a lid on a low fire.
Made too much? Just mix the remaining quinoa with some dried fruits and shredded or dessicated coconut. Enjoy a quick, surprising and healthy breakfast the day after!
