In our jams we replace the refined sugar with agave syrup from wild agave. Not only do we reduce the total sugar content by almost half, agave syrup also has a lower glycemic index. So no harm to your body. These jams are not as sweet, but you can taste the fruit, as it should be.
This jam is made in Spain from sun-ripened, organically grown mangoes. So no artificial fertilizers or chemical sprays. Of course we do not use any preservatives, flavourings, colourings or E-numbers.
Organic mango and agave syrup jam can be kept for a very long time under a closed, airtight lid. In the cool temperature the jam will become more syrupy. Because there are no preservatives and much less sugar is used, you can best use the jam within 2-3 weeks after opening.
