Our pure dried iris root has a wonderful smell of violets. Because of this, iris root - also known by its English name orris root - is primarily used for its aroma.
Use

Just put some pieces of iris root in a linen bag and put it between your clean laundry or use it in a fragrant potpourri.

Iris root also balances flavors in spicy gins, such as Beefeater Gin or Brockmans Gin.
