Harissa is a delicious spicy sauce, comparable to chili sauce and sambal. The sauce is Tunisian in origin and is used in North African cuisine to finish off dishes and sauces. This red harissa paste is the original harissa, indispensable in Moroccan dishes.
Couscous, merguez sausages or portobello burgers: give each dish a spicy touch with a spoonful of harissa. Harissa tastes even better when combined with coriander, cumin and mint.
