This mix contains all the ingredients you need for a nutritious bread that comes fresh out of the oven. At its core, it’s a wheat bread enriched with a blend of six seeds and almond flour, plus an extra boost of protein.
One package makes one loaf of bread. It looks and feels like a traditional loaf but with that little extra nutritional value.
Per 100 g of mix, you get 17 g of protein. With 11 g of fiber, this bread is a nutritional powerhouse. Plus, all the ingredients are organically grown.
For this mix, you’ll need to add:
4 large eggs
1 tsp sea salt
Optional: 2 tsp rosemary or herbs of your choice
375 ml lukewarm water
7 g dried yeast (such as our instant yeast)
4 tbsp olive oil
STEP 1: Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a bread tin (or a 1.5L loaf pan) with baking paper.
STEP 2: In a tall container, mix the olive oil into the lukewarm water, ideally with a fork. Let it sit for five minutes.
STEP 3: Take a large mixing bowl, pour in the bread mix, and stir in the salt, herbs, and yeast.
STEP 4: Make a well in the center and crack the eggs into it.
STEP 5: Whisk the eggs and gradually add the water mixture. Stir slowly until you get a smooth batter.
STEP 6: Pour the batter into the bread tin and bake for 45 minutes in the preheated oven at 180°C (350°F). You can check if it’s done by inserting a clean skewer.
STEP 7: Place the bread on a cooling rack and let it cool for 20 minutes.
Ready to slice! It’s also delicious while still slightly warm or even a few days later as toast.
