This is a Chinese green Matcha tea, organically grown on the Tai Shan tea plantation in the northwestern part of the Chinese province of Zhejiang.
In order to guarantee high quality, just like Japanese Gyokuro tea, the following are selected tea shrubs in the shade for a while before they are plucked. This brightly coloured, reed-green and fine bouquet is a great way to increase the chlorophyll content.
This green Matcha tea has a fairly robust character with lots of volume and the authentic sharpness of typical green tea. The tea becomes mossy green in colour, with a strong and fresh bouquet and a slight sharpness in the aftertaste.
Add a teaspoon of this green matcha Taishan powder tea to a cup of hot water.
Leave to infuse for 1-2 minutes.
