This organic green pesto originated in northern Italy, where a small family business decided to share their authentic recipe with us.

A whopping 66% Italian basil makes this pesto 20% less than fat than most jarred varieties. And the full 100% of the ingredients are plant-based. That means no Italian cheeses, but dried potato flakes that give the flavor and texture of the pesto support.
In addition, the Italian company chose cashews instead of pine nuts. This provides a creamy texture and at the same time the pesto does not lose body, and certainly not flavor.
Shake the sealed jar once or stir the pesto briefly so that the layer of oil on top is well distributed before use.
