This delicate, fine tea comes from a small tea plantation in Darjeeling, situated between 915m and 1375m of altitude. The Jungpana plantation has been providing beautiful, well-kept quality tea with a special, somewhat flowery aroma for decades. The taste of Darjeeling tea is highly dependent on the time of harvest. This inbetween Darjeeling tea is harvested between the first and second flush, around May-June. Perfect tea for a nice Sunday afternoon.
The quality of loose tea is often indicated with an abbreviation. Our black tea Darjeeling Jungpana is a FTGFOP1 tea: Finest Tippy Golden Flowery Orange Pekoe of the first quality. This is one of the highest possible qualities and indicates whole young tea leaves with light ends.
