This black Ceylon Pettiagalla tea is one of the most popular teas from Ceylon. The combination of the typical fine, mild taste of tea from the Dimbula growing area of Sri Lanka, is here combined with a clear and spicy aroma, typical of the Pettiagalla plantation.
The quality of loose leaf tea is often indicated by an abbreviation. Our Ceylon Pettiagalla black tea is an OP or Orange Pekoe tea. This good tea quality has a long, firm tea leaf with no white tips.
2 tsp for 1.75 dl water (at 100°C). Allow the tea to infuse for 2 minutes.
